This is so awesome. If every city had people who initiated this, and 3 cars around each initiator participated, the roads will be a more fun place to be.
I remember a looooooooong, loooooooooong time ago, when i still had to go to work during regular working hours, and had to head home in a traffic jam, there was this one day where i had achieved something really good at work and I was a triumphant spirit. On the way home, i blasted the radio and sang & danced to the music. As i got more and more ‘into’ the music, i suddenly heard a funny ‘beep beep’ and i realized that the cars around me were watching me, and 2 other cars also had their speakers up loud, and were on the same radio station as I was, and they were also dancing to the same tune. We gave each other giant grins, the thumbs up and and carried on… The other cars who didnt dance-a-long, had huge grins on their faces….
Of course, back then, cameras on smartphones didnt exist yet… It was still during the friendster era.
Turn your music up, and have fun in traffic jams. Remember, you may not be able to control the traffic, but you can control your attitude towards it.
Oh BTW: the road i was on was the Federal Highway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia 🙂
I can’t tell what part of this video is my favorite — it’s somewhere between how adorable the guy is, how happy everyone is about hearing the song, or how into the dance moves some of the drivers get. Even though, knowing myself, I would probably just scowl at him as I rolled up my window (I don’t do well in traffic), I am happy there are some drivers out there who are in a good enough mood to make for an amazing impromptu sing-a-long. Yay! [tc-mark]
